Mission Statement:

Our mission is to disciple the children of ESBC and the Eastern Shore by providing a biblically enriched environment at ESBC in which they can develop and solidify their faith in Christ (Showing), grow in Christ as disciples (Growing), and learn to work together with brothers and sisters in Christ to make disciples as they voyage into life (Going).

How We Carry Out Our Mission

Sunday Mornings

  • Life Groups:
At 9:00 am in Life Group, children are taught Bible verses and key stories of the Bible. Our teachers are dedicated to helping your children develop their faith.

    Preschoolers:

Our preschool building is located adjacent to our sanctuary and is designed for children from birth through 5 years old.

    Older Children:

Kindergarten through 6th grade meet in our Activity Building next to the Preschool Department.

  • Children’s Church:

    • When: Immediately following the music portion of morning worship, children in grades kindergarten through second exit the sanctuary to go to Children’s Church. Children’s Church does not meet the first Sunday of each month in order to provide the opportunity for children to worship with their families.

    • Location: Children’s Church Room

    • Children’s Church is designed to prepare children in grades kindergarten through second to worship in corporate worship with their family.

    • Worship is designed after the corporate style.
