Eastern Shore Baptist Church  believes that Missions are the basic meaning to the Church. We are Missions. God has called His Church out from the World and sent her into the world with a message of hope and a Mission. 

With many opportunities for you become involved in Missions Locally, Nationally and internationally, our commitment is for you to use your Time, Talent and Treasures to

 “Go” on Missions and serve together. 


Local Missions:

 Missions begin at the door steps of ESBC.  New mission opportunities present themselves as we daily cross paths with others. 

 

Upward Basketball : 3 Months a year

This mission provides the opportunity to reach many unreached families through the sport of Basketball. ESBC has partnered with several local Churches on the Eastern Shore utilizing sports in a healthy Christian environment to positively point others to Christ. To find out more, contact Johnathen Smith at 251-680-2567.

 

Stockton Zion Fountain partnership : Monthly

A partnership with a Church in the Northern section of Baldwin County, encouraging and helping those in need through the Prodisee Food Pantry with a food delivery on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Helping our Brothers and Sisters in Christ reach the area where they live.

 

English as a Second Language :Weekly

Using Christian leadership and Biblical passages to teach those eager to learn the English language. Weekly classes are held on Tuesdays from 6-7:30 pm, January-May. For more information, please contact Brenda@myesbc.net.

Tutoring : Weekly

Weekly sessions for grades K5-12 are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 and 5-6 pm, January-May. For more information, please contact Brenda@myesbc.net. Please CLICK HERE to reserve a time slot(s).

 

ESBC Kids Missions and Music : Weekly

Encouraging “kids” to become missionaries in their mission fields of life through choir classes, Bible study and lessons. Children’s Choirs are 5:30-6:30 pm, and Missions are 6:30-7:30 pm.

 

Sewing Servants: Monthly 

Ladies with a heart for missions that sew for needy families and newborns. Sewing Servants meet on the 3rd Monday of the month from 9:30 am-Noon. No skills are needed. Please bring a lunch.

 

National Missions: 

 

Vermont Missions- Yearly trips

We are passionate to reach people groups in the US that need to hear the gospel. Vermont is one of those Partnerships. This is fun mission experience for families that desire to serve together. 

 

Youth Choir Tour - Yearly Trips

Teens showing the love of Christ around the country through using the messages of Music and evangelism. 

 

International Missions

 

Haiti Initiative - Twice a year

ESBC has partnered with Children’s Hope in Jacmel Haiti using several creative ideas. 

We use the tools of Construction, English as a Foreign Language , Women’s conferences, Church Leadership directions and Church Planting as opportunities to reach the “ Least of These” in Haiti. 

 

Paris Missions - Yearly 

ESBC has developed a partnership with the International Mission Board to minister to the North African and Middle Eastern people groups and take the gospel to the Ends of the Earth using several ideas developed over the past decade of missions to this area of the world. 

 

Eastern Shore Baptist has many opportunities for you to plug in and use your Time, Talents and Treasures - “Let’s Go.”
